Song choice research

When looking at what song we wanted to use we made sure that we choose very carefully because we need to make sure that we choose a song that we could be very creative with and not run out of ideas to put into our video. We had decided as a group that we defiantly wanted to use a up beat song where we could use lots of dancers. When choosing our song because we knew that we wanted to have dancers this meant that we needed to have a choreographer so when choosing a song we need to have a discussion with our chosen choreographer that they would be able to create an interesting dance piece to a song. So the song choice was a decision between me and Georgina but also our choreographer.

Some of the songs that we looked at were:
Bo$$- fifth Harmony
Die young- Ke$ha
We R who we R- Kes$ha
Salute- Little Mix
We listened to several different Britney Spears songs such as Circus and many more of her up beat songs as she has quite a few.
We also looked at several different Miley Cyrus songs such as Bangerz and many more of her new and old songs but we found that her music was not what we had in mind.
We found that a lot of these songs didn't match the type of vibe that we wanted and therefore we not appropriate we also.

Our chosen song is  Bo$$ by Fifth Harmony this is because it is an up beat song and is an easy song to choreograph a good interesting dance to which is an essential part of our video as this is the main concept. It is also very light and not about a heavy subject and a good feel song which is what we wanted to go for.

We R Who We R- Ke$ha

When listening to this song we decided that this song had too many vocals and too many words in it that may ruin our video as they are quite fast and our actor in the video may not no them or it may look messy and might be out of time. We also decide that we thought that this song was quite a dark dance video and we wanted one more 'good feel'.

Salute- Little Mix

We decided that we like this song better then we liked Ke$has song this is because we though it was a more feel good song and it would be easier to choreograph a dance to and we also felt we felt more inspiration wen listening to this song then we did she we listened to Ke$has song however there is still a lot of lyrics in this song which are very fast which will make it extremely difficult when we need to incorporate the lip syncing.
